Login issues? Follow these steps

Are you having issues logging in to your account? Read the following information to help you.​

Top issues on why users cannot log in:

  1. Wrong login page - each fund has a different URL. You can only log in from the fund you registered with.

  2. Wrong password - the password you used to create the account is not the same password you are using to try and log in.

  3. Case matters - the password is case sensitive.

  4. 2nd factor authentication email goes to junk / spam or is blocked by your service provider.

  5. You are trying to log in using the link from your invitation email.

​Wrong login page​

Investors can only log into the fund they have created an account with. Check the end of the URL to ensure its the correct address. It will be https://investor.avestorinc.com/{fundname}. If you do not know the fundname, ask your fund manager.

​Wrong Password​

Write down the exact password you are using to login. It must be a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols. The password rules are as follows:

  • Password must be at least 8 characters but not greater than 25 characters

  • Password must have a special character (#, $, %)

  • Password must have at least one number between 0 to 9

  • Password must have at least one upper case letter

  • Password must have at least one lower case letter

​Passwords are case sensitive​.

All password letters must be in the same case to login as when you created them. For example, if you created a password $HelloWorld2022, then $Helloworld2022 will not work for login.

​2nd factor authentication email goes to spam / junk​

You will receive an email from Avestor with a 6 digit code when you either create a password or reset a password. If you don’t see the email after 30 seconds, look in your spam / junk folder. It is likely there. If you do not receive a code after multiple tries, contact ​support@avestorinc.com​.

​Invitation email link​

If you received an invitation email with a registration link, that link is a one time link to register. It will not work again after your account is created. To log in, you must go to your fund’s login page.

​How to reset your password​

  1. If you are at the correct login page and your password is not working, click on the eye on the right side of the password box to reveal the password you are typing. Make sure it’s the same password you originally set.

  1. If your password is still not working, click on Forgot Password to reset your password.
  • a) Type in your registered email address

    b) You will receive an email from Avestor with a 6 digit code. If you don’t see the email after 30 seconds, look in your spam / junk folder. It is likely there. If you do not receive a code after multiple tries, contact ​support@avestorinc.com

    c) Click on the eye on the right side of both password boxes.

    d) Type in the same password in both boxes and hit submit.

    e) You should now be able to log into your account.

  1. If the above steps do not work, send an email to ​support@avestorinc.com​ to help you. Do not contact your fund manager as they will not be able to
    assist with you with password security issues.
