How to Obtain a New Accreditation Letter Directly from Accredd

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of obtaining an accreditation letter through the Avestor custom link.

This is especially useful if you have previously uploaded an accreditation letter that has expired and now need a new one. Follow these steps for a smooth experience:

Step 1: Visit the Accreditation Website

Step 2: Sign In or Sign Up

  • Once on the website, sign in or sign up if you are a new user.
  • You can either create a new account through the sign-up link or select from existing options such as Google or other listed accounts.
  • In this example, we’ll proceed with signing in using a Google account.

Step 3: Verify the Sponsor Name

  • After logging in, verify that the sponsor name displayed is Avestor. This confirms that your accreditation process is tied to the Avestor portal.

Step 4: Start a New Verification

  • Click on New Verification.
  • Select the option that best matches your accreditation type:
    • Individual
    • Joint Tenants
    • Entity/Trust

For this guide, we’ll use the Individual option.

Step 5: Enter Your Details

  • Enter your legal name in the provided field.
  • Click on Get Verified to proceed.

Step 6: Choose Your Verification Method

  • A window will appear, showing different verification methods.
  • Each option will display the type of information required and provide a section to upload relevant files.
  • Enter the requested details and upload any necessary documents.
  • Be sure to check the checkbox indicating your agreement before clicking Verify.

Step 7: Await Email Confirmation

  • After submitting your information, keep an eye on your email inbox.
  • Accred.com will email you with updates on your submission status. If any additional information is needed, they will specify what is required.

Step 8: Upload Additional Information (If Needed)

  • If Accred.com requests more information, log back into your account.
  • Select your account and upload the required files.

Step 9: Download and Share Your Accreditation Letter

  • Once your accreditation is approved, download your accreditation letter.
  • The letter is valid for 5 years.
  • Send this letter to your fund manager so they can upload it to the Avestor portal on your behalf.
