Investor Onboarding: Connecting Your ACH Bank Account to the Investor Portal as a Business Investor



  1. Log in to Your Account.

    • Once logged in, select Bank Accounts from the left navigation menu.
  2. Fill in Your Personal Information.

    • Skip the pre-filled email section and enter your first and last name (must match your legal name—no nicknames or abbreviations).
    • Provide your legal business name and business type (ensure the business name matches exactly with what’s on your IRS EIN letter).
  3. Fill in Your Business Information.

    • If applicable, fill out the DBA (Doing Business As) section. If not, skip it.
    • Enter your address exactly as shown on your IRS EIN letter to avoid delays.
    • Fill in the drop-downs for business classification and industry.
    • Provide your EIN number (listed on your IRS EIN letter).
  4. Enter Your Role Information.

    • Fill in the title related to your role in the LLC.
    • Enter your date of birth and address (make sure it matches the address on your state ID or driver’s license).
    • Enter the last four digits of your Social Security number, check the agreement box, and click Agree and Continue.
  5. Verify Completion.

    • If done correctly, you’ll see a “Completed” message. If not, the system will request additional documents for verification.
  6. Add Beneficiary Owners.

    • Click Add Owner and provide the necessary details (legal name, Social Security number, and address as listed on your ID).
    • Certify the beneficiary owner and submit the information.
  7. Add Bank Information.

    • Click Add Bank Information, check the box, and click Agree and Add Bank.
    • Check your email for a verification code, enter it, and submit.
  8. Connect Your Bank Account via Plaid.

    • You will be prompted to connect your bank account through Plaid.
    • Choose your bank from the list or input your telephone number and hit Continue. If your bank isn’t supported by Plaid, you will need to choose a bank that is.
    • Follow the prompts to log into your bank account.
  9. Select Your Primary Bank for ACH Transfers.

    • Once connected, your bank will appear in the list. If you have more than one, choose the primary bank for ACH transfers.
    • If needed, you can add additional banks and set one as the primary.
  10. Send Funds to Your Fund Manager.

  • Go to the Transfer Money section in the left menu.
  • Select your bank, input the amount, and click Send Transfer. Be sure to double-check the numbers before submitting, as the transfer is immediate.
